5- Day Brahmotsavam at Rameshwarnagar Temple in Bellary from Today

Bellary, July 16, 2013: The Brahmotsav of Venkateshwara will be celebrated for five days from July 16 at a temple in Rameshwarnagar, on the outskirts of the city. Mahesh Ajjiwal of Sri Rameshwari Trust, which is managing the temple, said that the idol of Sri Venkateshwara would be taken in a procession on all five days, mounted on a different ‘vahana’ each day, including Sesha, Surya and Gaja. The programmes would include rituals, religious discourses, car festival, chanting of ‘sahasranamas’ and bhajans on all five days, in the presence of Bhoodevacharyaji Maharaj. D. Vishweshwar Bhat, Principal District and Sessions judge, would be flagging off the celebrations on July 16.
