Chief Justice Offers Paryers at Tirumala

Tirumala, July 15, 2013: Chief Justice of High Court, Justice Kalyan Jyothi Sengupta, on Sunday offered prayers at the sacred hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara.

On his arrival at the main entrance of the temple complex, he was received with traditional temple honours by the priests and authorities and led into the sanctorum where he offered his prayers.

Later, as is customary, while the priests rendered Vedasirvachanams, TTD Chairman K. Bapiraju and Executive officer M.G. Gopal presented him with the laddu prasadam and memento of the deity.

Prominent among others who were present include Justice N.V. Ramana of the High Court, district judge Ravi babu, TTD’s JEO K.S. Srinivasa Raju, CVSO G.V.G. Ashok Kumar and other officials.
