Alappuzha, July 2, 2013: The body of P.G.Jomon, a constable of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) and a native of Pallippuram near Chertala in the district, who died in the helicopter crash in Gaurikund in Uttarakhand, is expected to be brought home by Tuesday noon. The body was identified through a DNA test after ITBP officials from Nooranad unit in the district took blood and hair samples of Jomon’s father and mother. The body will be kept at the panchayat office for the public to pay their last respects.
