IUML Bemoans Loss of Life in Uttarakhand Tragedy

Belgaum, July 2, 2013: The Karnataka unit of the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) has mourned the loss of lives of pilgrims in the natural calamity that struck Uttarakhand.

It has appealed to the Union government and social organisations to extend all help to the injured pilgrims and to the kin of the deceased, besides rescuing all those stranded there.

In a press release issued here on Monday, IUML’s State committee met in Belgaum on Saturday.

The organisation paid tributes to their former national president G.M. Banatwala.

The committee pledged to strengthen its organisation at the grassroots level in Karnataka.
