Vijayawada, June 29, 2013: The third batch of pilgrims arrived here in a bus arranged by Vijayawada Parliamentary constituency in-charge Kesineni Srinivas (Nani) on Friday. As many as 39 people belonging to different places like Chittoor, Kodad, and Nellore etc. reached here in early hours.

Pouring out their woes, the pilgrims said that they have faced discrimination at the rescue camps as they could not speak Hindi. The officials on duty did not help in boarding helicopter. No official from the state were present to help the victims. There was no food for many days, and were dependent on biscuits. Even drinking water was not available. On occasions, rain water was only source. The State government has miserably failed in helping the victims though it has resources, they said.
