Boat Ride Proposed by Tourism Dept. Includes Darshan at Kolleti Kota Temple

KOLLETI KOTA (KRISHNA DT.), June 26, 2013: Tourism Department officials propose to arrange boat ride for tourists from Upputeru canal located at Chinna Gollapalem village in Kruthivennu mandal to Atapaka Bird Sanctuary in Kolleru Lake.

The tourists would be provided darshan at Sri Peddintlamma devastanam in Kolleti Kota village, said Andhra Pradesh Project Facilitators and Consultancy Services Limited (APPFCS) Chief Consultant K. Lakshminarayana.

The APPFCS chief consultant along with Krishna District Assistant Tourism Officer G. Rama Lakshmana Rao visited Kolluru Peddintlamma temple, Atapaka Bird Sanctuary and Kolleru Lake in the district. Mr. Lakshminarayana enquired with the Forest Department officials about the tourist potential of the sanctuary.
