40 Pilgrims from Kadapa Reach Home, Heave a Sigh of Relief

Kadapa, June 26, 2013: Ten more pilgrims from Proddatur came home safely from the Char Dham Yatra in Uttarakhand on Tuesday taking the total number of pilgrims returning to Kadapa district to 40.

However, four members of a family- Laddagiri Vishnuvardhan Rao, lineman in APTransco at Jammalamadugu, his wife Vijaya Kumari and sons Kishore Kumar and Vinod Kumar- of Jammalamadugu and six of their relatives- a retired APSRTC employee Narahari, his wife Kanakamma, son Venugopal, daughter-in-law Swetha, sister Suseela and a five-year-old boy Simha - of Tirupati, who went on pilgrimage together, were still out of contact.

Mallikarjuna Reddy, Sailaja, Obul Reddy, Veeramma, Krishnavenamma, Sivamma and four others reached Hyderabad by flight on Monday evening and came to Proddatur by a private bus on Tuesday.

Divisional Engineer of Panchayat Raj K. Lakshmi Reddy, his wife Sasikala, writer N. Ramachandra, Krishna Reddy and Devalakshmi, Y.V. Ramamuni Reddy, Easwaramma, Rami Reddy, Rajeswaramma, Kovvuru Ramesh Reddy, Jayamma, Rukmini, Subbalakshmi, A. Ramasubba Reddy, Sulochana, D.C. Subba Reddy, Subbamma, K. Prabhakar Reddy, Sarala Devi, M. Suryanarayana Reddy, Ganga Lakshmi, K. Raghurami Reddy and Sarala of Proddatur town; N. Bayyapu Reddy, Savithri, N. Veera Reddy, Saroja, Surendranath Reddy, Jayamma of Thallamapuram village had returned to Proddatur.

Veera Reddy and Vijayaleela of Vontivelugu village in Kurnool district, who were part of the entourage from Proddatur, returned to their village.

G. Veerapratap, Venkatasubbamma, Veera Jyothi and Subbamma of Kethavaram village in Chapadu mandal also reached home safely.
