Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) has proposed to construct temples for Lord Venkateswara along with amenities complexes at ‘Char Dham’ kshethras in Uttaranchal, TTD executive officer LV Subramanyam said here on Friday.

Speaking to media, he said the chief minister of Uttaranchal, Vijay Bahuguna, requested the TTD to construct Lord Venkateswara temples at Gangotri, Yamunotri, Badrinath and Kedarnath and promised to provide sufficient land for the purpose.

The engineering department has been directed to prepare a plan and take necessary approval from the local bodies and forward it to the chief minister, the executive officer explained.
