Tirupati, June 14:

Applications have been invited from the interested candidates who want to take up fine arts as their career in TTD-run Sri Venkateswara College of Music and Dance in Tirupati for the academic year 2013-14.

Apart from carnatic music (vocal), Nadaswaram, Dance, Talam, Harikatha, B Music, M Music as regular courses, diploma and certificate courses are also available in the evening college.

The students who would like to join in these courses of their choice can pay Rs.25 for the application.

The candidates should send the fill in application along with two sets of pass-port size photos and post-cards along with xerox copies of TC and Marks list to the address-Principal, SV College of Music and Dance, Balaji Colony, Tirupati - 517502 on or before June 30, 2013.

Meanwhile the college has also introduced two-year course - Kalapravesika in Dance and Vocal.

Anybody including housewives and children who are interested in learning classical dance and music can apply for this course irrespective of their age and qualification.
