Kathakali Maestro Receives Honour
PALAKKAD: veteran Kathakali artiste, Kalamandalam K.G. Vasudevan will be conferred with the first Kottakkal Sivaraman Memorial Award for Kathakali, instituted in the memory of the late Kathakali maestro, here at Karalmanna on July 19.
The award carries a purse of Rs.5, 001, a plaque and citation. It is instituted by the Kunchu Nair Memorial Trust of Karalmanna.
