Annavaram: The Executive Officer, Veeranki Jagannadham, and the temple priests of the Sri Veera Venkata Satyanarayana Swamy temple in Annavaram warmly received the CBI Joint Director K. Lakshminarayana who came along with his family to offer prayers at the temple. The CBI JD was transferred to Mumbai yesterday and he came to seek the blessings of the Lord before he took up his new office.

Later, speaking to media persons, Mr. Lakshminaryana called upon the youth to donate blood on every birthday after attaining age of 18 years. The country’s future lies in the hands of youth and urged the youth to keep away from cricket betting, Internets, face book and fast-foods.

 He made it clear that the vision 2020 dreamt by the former President of India A.P.J. Abdul Kalam can only be achieved by youth. He laid emphasis on environment and asked the youth to plant a seedling to protect environment. Replying to a question he made it clear that the cases taken up by him are not going to be diluted even after his transfer.
