The dharma darshan queue complex atop Indrakeeladri was the venue to a brouhaha by the public due to the sudden appearance of a snake on Wednesday. The news was beamed on news channels.
The security personnel on duty noticed the snake that had fallen from the top near dharma darshan close to the shopping complex at around 1.30 p.m. The higher ups were duly informed about this, who in turn alerted the forest officials. The shopkeepers and devotees made a beeline for a glimpse of the snake. Meanwhile, forest officials arrived at the spot and captured the python. These kinds of pythons are dependent on rodents and those are found on hillocks. These are said to be harmless. It was like any ordinary snake found on hillocks. Temple officials said it was not a python.
