Special programmes in connection with the Tyagaraja utsavam have been organized by Madhura Ganalaya, to be held on June 23, at Mahalakshmi Kalyana Mandapam, Ambattur.

The celebration starts at 6 a.m. followed by Veda parayanam and unchavrithi. Vishaka Hari, Dr. R.S. Jayalakshmi of Music Academy, Vijaya Nagarajan and Ganapathy Raman will grace the occasion as chief guests.

The students of Madhura Ganalaya will render the Saint’s Pancharatna kritis followed by nadopasana, tala upasana and Nrithyopasana and Sastriya Natanam by the disciple of Kumari Varnakula. Certificate and prize distribution will take place in the evening.
