Sri Ganeshji is the bestower of intellect. Among the seven Kundalini chakras in the human body, the seat of Sri Ganeshji is inthe Muladhar chakra. Sri Ganeshji is the bestower of happiness. He has theability to destroy the negative energies in the Universe. Hence, He is also called the Destroyer of Distress (‘Dukhahaharta’). All the doubts are destroyed by His grace. With His grace, a person’s intellect becomes stable and the mind calm.
Many devotees perform the vrat of the benevolent Sri Ganeshji with the spiritual emotion of faith. The vrat that is performed on Sri Ganesh Chaturthi is also called ‘Siddhivinayak vrat’.

Importance of Sri Ganesh Chaturthi vrat


The tama-predominant Yam frequencies descend on Earth in higher proportion from the full moon day of the month of Ashadh to the full moon day of Kartik. Due to these frequencies the Jivas suffer physical, mental and spiritual distress.
A. Physical distress due to Yam frequencies

Reason for a New idol for worship on Sri Ganesh Chaturthi


There are two main reasons for bringing a New idol on the day of Sri Ganesh Chaturthi and later immersing it in flowing water.
It not being possible to worship with meticulous rituals the idol which is charged with high proportion of frequencies of Sri Ganesh Principle
By invoking the idol of Sri Ganeshji kept in the house temple, lot of spiritual energy is generated in the idol. It is not possible for all to do ritualistic worship meticulously of the idol which is charged with the frequencies of Sri Ganesh Principle with enthusiasm and Ganesh throughout the year.
An average person not being able to tolerate the frequencies of the Principle of Sri Ganesh for an extended period.
The percentage of sattva, raja and tama guna in the vibrations of Sri Ganeshji’s Principle is 5:5:5 whereas the percentage of sattva, raja and tama in an average person is 1:3:5. For this reason it is not possible for an average person to tolerate the frequencies of the Principle of Sri Ganeshji.
